Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

MSP Sale Readiness wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using a screen reader, people who navigate by keyboard rather than a mouse, people with low vision, and people with a cognitive or learning difference. This is a voluntary commitment rather than a legal requirement, but we take it seriously and treat accessibility as an ongoing piece of work rather than a box to tick once.

The standard we aim for

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the current internationally recognised standard for web accessibility. This is the same standard UK public sector websites are required to meet, which we have adopted voluntarily as a benchmark for good practice.

What we have done

Steps taken so far to support accessibility on this website include:

  • Building the site on Wix, a platform whose themes and site structure are designed with keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility in mind

  • Choosing colour combinations for text and backgrounds with the aim of maintaining clear contrast

  • Using clear, plain-English page headings and descriptive link text rather than “click here” style links

  • Adding descriptive alternative text to meaningful images, so screen reader users understand what an image shows

  • Keeping page layouts simple and consistent, so the site is easier to navigate and understand

Known limitations

No website is perfectly accessible, and this one is no exception. As a newly built site, we have not yet carried out a full, independent accessibility audit, and some limitations we are aware of include:

  • Some third-party elements embedded in the site, such as forms or booking widgets provided by Wix or other services, may not fully match our own accessibility standards, since we do not control how they are built

  • PDF or Word documents linked from the site may not all be fully accessible; if you need a document in a different format, please contact us and we will do our best to help

  • Video or image content, where used, may not yet have captions or detailed descriptions in every case

We will update this statement as we identify and fix issues, or as new ones are found.

Feedback and contact

If you find any part of this website difficult to use, or you need information from this website in a different format, please get in touch:

  • Email: david.thomas9@me.com

  • Phone: 07711 847670

We will aim to respond within 5 working days and to address reasonable requests as quickly as we can.

Legal context

As a private business, MSP Sale Readiness is not subject to the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations, which apply only to public sector organisations. We do, however, recognise our obligations under the Equality Act 2010, which requires reasonable adjustments to be made for disabled customers and prohibits discrimination in the provision of services. If you feel you have been unable to access our services because of a disability, please contact us in the first instance so we can address it; general advice on your rights under the Equality Act 2010 is also available from the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
